General Information

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

A good honours degree in  Electrical &   Electronic Engineering or a closely related area from a recognized   University. Telecommunication Engineering graduates who do not hold First Class or Second Class (Upper) honours degree and all non Telecommunication Engineering graduates may be accepted subject to passing an interview.

ASSESSMENT:

 There will be an assessment at the end of each semester of the first year and at the end of the first semester of the second year, through the formal University examinations. The duration of the examination for each course shall not be less than two hours. This examination will be weighted 70% of the total marks for the course.

 In addition, there shall be a system of continuous assessment based on any or a combination of the following: Mid semester examination, class tests, tutorials, and assignments. This will be weighted 30% of the total marks for the course.

 Project and design works will be assessed through oral examination before a panel of examiners.

   REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION:

  •  Minimum credits:                                            75
  1. Pass all required courses
  • Minimum CWA:                                              50
  1. Completion of project and submission of a final written report.
