Electrical and Telecommunications engineering are arguably the largest and most diverse field of engineering, dealing in research and design, application, and manufacture of systems and devices that use electric power and signals. The KNUST Electrical and Electronics department has equipped itself with up-to- date know-how and equipment in the teaching of such a prestigious course for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The department has not lost focus of the impact of telecommunication engineering, hence, has provisions in place and offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in this sector too. Since all indications point out to the fact that the explosive rate of growth in this field will continue unabated, our department has set its eyes on the future and not losing track with recent technology and research in this field.
